-

Yes, Maxair provides after hours service to everyone. Our maintenance agreement customers do get the benefit of priority service, though.
-
Do Maxair maintenance agreement customers get any additional benefits?
Yes, Maxair maintenance agreement customers also receive reduced hourly rates on all services, as well as first priority for emergency service.
-

No, currently Maxair is focused on serving our commercial, institutional and industrial customers.
-
Why is the price of refrigerant R-22 increasing so quickly?
Refrigerant R-22 is an HCFC and the supply is being reduced globally to reduce ozone layer depletion and global warming. The 2015 US supply of new R-22 is down 57% from 2014, and the 2016 supply is down another 20%. There will be no new R-22 produced in the US starting in 2020. The reduced supply has naturally led to significant increases in price, which the governing bodies expect will encourage owners to replace R-22 equipment with new equipment containing more environmentally friendly refrigerants.
